How to use the Facial Mask?
The Facial Mask requires the user to first clean and prepare the skin. Once the skin has been cleansed the user can apply their favourite cosmetics to their face prior to treatment. When ready simply turn on the facial mask and fasten the head straps for a preferred position.
How long does a treatment last?
We advise to do 1 treatment of 20 minutes every day using the built-in timer. The most important thing to get results from light therapy is consistency.
How often can I use the Facial Mask?
You can use the Aduro Facial Mask every day for 20 minutes. In order to see optimal results you need to use it regularly.
What can I expect from a treatment?
Users may feel a warm sensation on the skin during treatment, with increased hydration and plumping of the skin.
After 1 week: most users will notice an improvement in skin texture, with skin appearing more healthy and skin smoothness.
After 2 weeks: a vast majority of users will notice an overall better condition of the skin, compared to the skin condition before the start of the treatments.

It is not necessary to use anything on your face under the mask, however many have claimed to have gotten even better results using a serum or light penetrating face sheet.

Can I use cosmetics with a treatment?
The Aduro Facial Masks are designed to be used with your favourite cosmetics. Be careful not to use fatty substances (like cream) during the treatment, as they can block the light from reaching your skin and delay results.
How can I clean the mask?
The mask should be cleaned after each use. Though Aduro Facial Mask is splash water resistant, it should not be submerged in liquid.
Make sure the Aduro Facial Mask is unplugged and turned off. Then use a damp, soft cloth with a mild alcohol-free cleaning detergent to clean the facial area. Repeat until the Aduro Facial Mask is clean and then dry with a clean dry cloth.
Do not use alcohol or harsh chemicals or any acidic cleaning materials to clean the Aduro Facial Mask. This can damage the mask and effect efficiency.

What does light therapy do for my skin?
LED light therapy is a painless, relaxing, non-invasive skincare treatment that has multiple benefits, particularly stimulating collagen production and treating mild to moderate acne.
The Aduro devices use light therapy (UV-free) in specific wavelengths (colors!) using LED’s (LIGHT EMITTING DIODES) to increase facial blood circulation and stimulate, for example, collagen production and acne reduction.
Is the light safe for my eyes?
Yes, absolutely! Our Aduro devices have gone through rigorous testing and has been backed by clinical studies. This products do not require the use of eye protection, however some users experience a bit of irritation so if you feel that, use the goggles which come with the device.
How does light therapy work?
The skin has a wonderful ability absorb light energy. The skin utilizes this energy to kick-start the cells into producing more cellular fuel (ATP), boosting their performance and allowing them to do what they do naturally, but at an enhanced rate. Super-charged cells from exposure to light therapy use this energy to prompt skin fibroblasts to produce increased collagen, elastin proteins and stimulate the body’s natural healing and rejuvenating processes.

Is red light therapy dangerous?
Red light therapy is considered to be a safe and well-tolerated therapy for the relief of symptoms of multiple conditions. Unlike using salon tanning beds, red light therapy does not utilize harmful ultraviolet (UV) light which can damage skin and cause cells to mutate
Unlike other types of light, LEDs do not contain ultraviolet (UV) rays. Therefore, they’re safe for regular use. The treatment is pain-free, non-invasive, and is safe for all skin types. LED light therapy doesn’t cause burns compared to other anti-aging treatments such as chemical peels, dermabrasion, and laser therapy.
We recommend to first test the Aduro devices for 3-5 minutes in a less visible place to test for light sensitivity. If you are not oversensitive, the Aduro products can be used. It is 100% safe for all skin colors and types.
The light does not emit dangerous UV radiation. No lasers are used. The light is not harmful to the eyes, although the light can be experienced as fierce. Therefore it is advisable to close the eyes or use the goggles we include during the treatment if you feel any discomfort.

Will Aduro devices hurt or burn the skin?
Aduro devices operate at “2°C above ambient” which is a perfect for feeling relaxed, comfortable and opening the pores to the skin. It will not burn anyone’s skin.
